prim. Dr. Zoran Veir, surgeon, subspec. in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb in 1995. In 2001, he passed the Examination in General Surgery and in 2004, the Examination in Plastic Surgery. He completed postgraduate studies in Biomedicine. He carried out his specialist training at the Clinic for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of Clinical Hospital Dubrava and Clinical Hospital Centre Zagreb (KBC). His education comprises stays in several foreign clinics for plastic surgery in Munich, Vienna, New York, Madrid and Milan.

He is trained in the field of reconstructive breast surgery, oncoplastic surgery, microsurgery and he participated in numerous workshops on aesthetic surgery.

He participates and speaks at national and international congresses. He has published several papers in international professional journals.
He is a member of the breast reconstruction education team of KBC Zagreb, he collaborates in scientific projects and is a member of international professional associations of plastic surgeons (ASPS, ISAPS, ESPRAS, ISPRAS, EBOPRAS) and secretary of HDPREK (Croatian Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Croatian Medical Association hdprek.hlz.hr).

Since 2005, Dr. Veir has been a permanent forensic expert of the County Court in Zagreb for general and plastic surgery, an appointed mentor for the training of candidates for permanent forensic experts in the field of plastic surgery.
